FAQ
Q. What accessories come with our purchase of the Spillpro pneumatic vacuum?
A. Intake and evacuation hoses, brush with squeegee head including extra rubber replacement, 3/4" hose adapter, 4 ft wand, angle wand, and dip tray.
You supply the air compressor. The optimum is 30cfm and 90psi, but will work with less.
Q. Why use the Spillpro when what I am using works just fine?
A. The Spillpro will retrieve 99% of any unabsorbed fluids quickly making the most environmental sense. Once contained, the fluids are safely put back into a secure container, completely eliminating the cost of absorbing products, as well as huge labor costs and disposal fees associated with such old fashioned methods.
Q. How long will my pneumatic vacuum work?
A. As long as an air source is provided, your unit will work. The Spillpro has no internal moving parts and because of this, we can offer a limited, lifetime warranty. (Accessory parts and valves are not included)
Q. What if I pick up more substance than the tank can hold?
A. The Spillpro has a built in shut off that eliminates this problem.
Q. What can the Spillpro clean up?
A. Nearly all fluids including, but not limited to: motor oil, hydraulic fluid, antifreeze and water. The Spillpro has also proved to be very effective in cleaning up powders, wood shavings, paint and CNC millings. New uses are being found daily for the Spillpro and we have custom designed and built many different machines for specific uses.
Q. Are replacement parts available for the Spillpro?
A. Wands, heads, hoses and attachments are all readily available. We will also produce accessories as needed for your specific design.
Q. What is a pneumatic vacuum?
A. Pneumatic tools or air tools are tools driven by gas, usually compressed air supplied by an electric or gas compressor. Pneumatic tools can also be driven by compressed carbon dioxide (CO2) stored in small cylinders allowing for portability. Pneumatic tools are commonly cheaper and safer to run and maintain than their electric power tool counterparts, as well as having a higher power to weight ratio, allowing a smaller, lighter tool to accomplish the same task. The Spillpro is a lightweight and powerful air tool or pneumatic vacuum.
Q. How do I clean this pneumatic tool?
A. Simply by sucking into the vacuum and then evacuating clean water or solvent. The Spillpro also has a removable top in the event of any heavy clogging.
Q. Is electricity needed to power the Spillpro?
A. This pneumatic vacuum is powered solely by compressed air. This makes the Spillpro safer and more powerful than any shop-vac unit powered by electricity. Your compressor will be powered by electricity or gas, but it will be safely away from your project.
Q. Will the Spillpro pick up dirt and debris that is in the spill?
A. Yes. This air tool will pick up anything that fits through the head and will also evacuate anything that ends up in the tank.
Q. What else can the Spillpro be used for?
A. Our most popular accessory allows the user to drain engines, transmissions, radiators and water pumps while still installed on the car or equipment. The inclusion of this accessory proves to save clean up time in the shop by effectively "vacuuming" and containing 95% of the fluids before the repair work is started. You can then reuse the fluid by running it through a flter system attached to the Spillpro. Click here to see filtered results.
Q. Once the pneumatic vacuum has cleaned up the spill, how do I empty the tank?
A. By simply reversing the valves, all of the material can be quickly evacuated into any chosen container and then disposed of, or recycled and reused as needed.
Q. Do you have the other accessories mentioned available to help maximize our use of the Spillpro?
A. We are constantly in negotiations for more accessories utilized in the field as well as better idea utilization and products. Check back soon. See our accessories video here.
